Our Profiles
Carolyn O'Neal, Ed.D.
Dr.
O'Neal has 38 years' experience as a professional educator. During her
career she was an elementary school teacher, a high school mathematics
teacher, a high school dean of students, and an elementary school
principal. Dr. O'Neal has done considerable research in the area of
attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), including her doctoral
dissertation entitled Undiagnosed ADHD in Elementary Students: Implications for Schools.Her broad professional experience and extensive educational research enrich the quality and breadth of services provided by LinkQuests Educational Consultants, Inc.
Ron O誰eal, Sr. M.S.Ed., C.A.S.
Mr.
O'Neal's professional education experience spans approximately four
decades. As an educator he has been: an elementary school teacher; an
elementary school principal; a junior high/middle school principal; a
high school principal; a university supervisor of student teachers; a
university instructor; and director of professional school development
initiatives at a university. These many and varied positions have
afforded him the opportunity to work with families, students, and
professionals at every educational level. His extensive educational
background has been critical to the successful development and
launching of LinkQuests Educational Consultants, Inc.
Traci Ellis, J.D.
Attorney
Traci Ellis has fifteen years' experience in the legal profession. She
has practiced as an associate in law firms; an in house counsel in
banking, retail, and marketing industries; and a corporate vice
president and general counsel. In addition, she has gained experience
working with schools as a parent of two school aged children with
attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). As a result, she has
become more aware and knowledgeable about the many legal ramifications
of parent/school decisions made regarding a child's education. With her
rich background and expertise, Traci Ellis has contributed greatly to
developing and implementing the unique programs offered by LinkQuests Educational Consultants, Inc.
Ron O誰eal, Jr., J.D.
Ron
O'Neal, Jr.'s nine years in the legal profession has been rich and
varied. His experience has included tenure as an Assistant
State's Attorney in Kane County, Illinois; an Assistant Attorney
General in the U.S. Virgin Island's Department of Justice; and now, he
is continuing his public service as an Assistant Corporation Counsel
for the City of Aurora, Illinois. The breadth of Ron's legal
experience includes felony criminal prosecution, juvenile delinquency
and truancy, as well as civil litigation and local government
issues. In his prior tenure as a prosecutor, Ron gained
significant experience working in matters involving at-risk
youth. In addition to negotiating and advocating for appropriate
consequences for juvenile offenders, he also served on several
non-profit boards for youth agencies. He has continually focused
on volunteer opportunities that assist at-risk children and
adolescents. Noting the great percentage of juveniles with
attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), Mr. O'Neal developed a
special interest in ADHD and at-risk youth. As a board director
for The Larkin Center, a non-profit residential center for abused and
neglected children and mentally ill adults, Ron continues his
commitment to serving children in need. In addition, he is a
foster parent for two at-risk children. Ron brings a valuable,
practical, real-world perspective to our mission at LinkQuests Educational Consultants, Inc. Amber Lewis, M.B.A.
Amber
Lewis is a seasoned marketing executive with experience developing and
executing long-range marketing plans. She has worked with several
Fortune 500 companies in industries such as intimate apparel, consumer
packaged goods, fitness apparel, financial auditing, and automobiles. A
Summa Cum Laude graduate of Florida Agricultural and Mechanical
University , Mrs. Lewis is a nationally certified fitness professional
and teaches group exercise classes in which she helps clients reach
their fitness goals through resistance training, cardio programs, and
flexibility training within a traditional gym atmosphere or in the
comfort of their own homes. Based on her unique marketing and fitness
industry experience, Mrs. Lewis serves as a consultant to various
companies. Currently engaged in the development of a seminar for LinkQuests Educational Consultants, Inc.,
she is researching the benefits of a healthy lifestyle
for children and adults with attention deficit hyperactivity
disorder (ADHD).
